Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

• 1 tsp olive oil
• 1 onion, finely chopped
• 3 garlic cloves, minced
• Pinch of cayenne powder
• 400g can of chopped tomatoes
• A handful fresh basil, chopped
• A handful fresh parsley, chopped
• Salt & black pepper

Method

1. Gently heat the oil in a pan, add the onion and cook until translucent.

2. Add the garlic, cayenne and tomatoes and simmer for 10-15 minutes.

3. Add basil and parsley and blitz in your blender to make a smooth sauce.
